Terms of Service

Last updated: July 16, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using SerpCue. We have written them in plain language so normal users can understand what they are agreeing to.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, accessing SerpCue, or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use SerpCue.

2. What SerpCue does

SerpCue is an SEO software product that analyzes websites, competitors, public web pages, and connected data sources such as Google Search Console. It provides SEO-related data, audits, reports, insights, content suggestions, and recommendations intended to help users understand what to improve.

SerpCue does not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, customers, revenue, or any specific SEO result. Search engine results are controlled by third parties such as Google and can change for many reasons outside our control.

Reports and recommendations may contain inaccuracies, be incomplete, or become outdated. You are responsible for independently reviewing recommendations before implementing them on your website or in your business.

3. Accounts and authorized use

You are responsible for the information you provide, the security of your login credentials, and all activity performed through your account. Please keep your account information accurate and protect your password.

You may only connect, analyze, crawl, publish to, or manage websites, Google Search Console properties, publishing accounts, social accounts, and other resources that you own or are authorized to manage.

Accounts may not be shared, sold, transferred, or assigned to someone else without our permission. We may request verification if we suspect abuse, unauthorized access, account sharing, or use of resources you are not authorized to manage.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use SerpCue to:

  • break the law or violate third-party rights;
  • access websites, accounts, Search Console properties, or data without authorization;
  • bypass plan limits, AI credits, crawling limits, usage limits, or access controls;
  • run automated abuse, excessive requests, or actions that disrupt SerpCue or other services;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or build a competing service from SerpCue's software, interface, data, or content;
  • resell, white-label, sublicense, or provide SerpCue as a managed service without written permission, except for white-label reporting features that are expressly included in your plan;
  • upload, generate, publish, or distribute malicious, infringing, deceptive, or unlawful content.

SerpCue's crawling is designed to be reasonable and to respect applicable technical restrictions such as robots.txt where supported by the product.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and renewal

SerpCue may offer free and paid plans. Current plan information is shown on the Pricing page and may also appear during checkout.

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected billing period and renew automatically until canceled. To avoid a future charge, you must cancel before the next renewal date. After cancellation, access to paid features generally continues until the end of the current paid period, unless we tell you otherwise or your account is suspended for another reason.

Cancellation does not normally refund the current billing period unless required by applicable law, expressly approved by us, or covered by a specific guarantee displayed on the pricing or checkout page for your purchase.

Prices, features, plan limits, and included usage may change over time. Where appropriate, we will make reasonable efforts to give notice of material changes. Failed payments may result in restricted access, suspension, or cancellation of paid features.

Checkout, payment processing, tax collection, invoices, subscription management, and refunds may be handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record for transactions processed through it. SerpCue itself is not the Merchant of Record for those Lemon Squeezy transactions.

6. Refunds

Except where required by applicable law or where a specific refund guarantee is displayed for your purchase, payments are generally non-refundable. We may approve refunds at our discretion.

Lemon Squeezy may also issue refunds or take action where required under its payment, fraud, chargeback, or Merchant of Record procedures.

7. AI-generated content and recommendations

Some SerpCue features may use artificial intelligence to generate text, article drafts, SEO suggestions, summaries, briefs, social posts, or recommendations.

AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, unsuitable for your audience, or inconsistent with your business goals. You must review AI-generated output before publishing it, relying on it, or making changes based on it.

You remain responsible for the content you publish, the SEO changes you make, and the legal compliance of your website. SerpCue does not guarantee that AI-generated content is original, legally compliant, factually correct, or free of third-party rights issues.

8. Third-party services and data

SerpCue may rely on or integrate with third-party services and data sources, including Google Search Console, Google APIs, public websites, AI service providers, Lemon Squeezy, Meta for advertising measurement, and hosting, email, analytics, and infrastructure providers.

The availability, accuracy, policies, and behavior of third-party services are outside SerpCue's control. Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, API limits, outages, approval processes, and data retention rules.

Use of SerpCue does not mean that Google, Meta, Lemon Squeezy, or any other third party sponsors, endorses, or is responsible for SerpCue.

9. Intellectual property

SerpCue's software, interface, design, branding, documentation, reports, original content, and underlying technology are owned by SerpCue or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, reverse engineer, or create derivative services from SerpCue except where these Terms allow it or where applicable law does not permit such restrictions.

You retain ownership of the data and content you submit to SerpCue. You give us the limited permission needed to host, process, analyze, display, and transmit that data so we can provide and improve the service.

10. Service availability and changes

SerpCue is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available operation. Maintenance, outages, queue delays, API limits, hosting issues, crawler failures, and third-party service problems may occur.

We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features over time. Where appropriate, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes that affect paid users.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, create security or legal risk, abuse the service, interfere with normal operation, or cause technical harm.

You may stop using SerpCue and cancel your subscription at any time. After termination, your access to the service may stop, and stored account data may be deleted or retained according to our Privacy Policy, legal obligations, backup practices, and legitimate business needs.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

SerpCue is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or SEO results.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SerpCue is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost rankings, lost business opportunities, or business interruption.

We are not responsible for losses caused by changes you make based on recommendations, AI-generated output, public website data, Google Search Console data, search engine changes, advertising platform decisions, or failures of third-party services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SerpCue's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for SerpCue during the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

14. Indemnity

You are responsible for claims, losses, and costs that arise from your misuse of SerpCue, unlawful content or data you submit, websites or resources you analyze without authorization, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version and date will remain available on this page. Material changes may be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate.

Continued use of SerpCue after the effective date of revised Terms means you accept the revised Terms, where permitted by law.
