Will it publish without my approval?

No. Articles are saved as WordPress drafts — nothing goes live until you press publish. (Scheduled automation can optionally publish live, but that's off by default.)

Is it a WordPress plugin?

No — there's nothing to install and it doesn't slow your site down. SerpCue connects through the WordPress REST API with an application password, which takes about five minutes to set up.

Do I need Google Search Console?

It's recommended — with GSC connected, SerpCue picks topics using your real ranking data. You can start without it and connect later.
